What are Jawline Fillers?
Jawline fillers can be used to treat:
Jawline Slimming
Conversely, an over-pronounced or over-angled jawline can be aesthetically displeasing. In women, especially, a square shaped face is often associated with masculinity. Often, this square shape is caused by hypertrophy of the masseter muscle.
You can find your masseter by feeling the angle of your jaw and clenching your teeth together. That muscle that you feel flexing is your masseter. If the masseter is hypertrophic (has been over-exercised and gotten too big) neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport can help.

Jowl Reduction
Pre-jowl sulcus, or that little bit of sagging or pooching in the jawline, is an obvious indicator of aging. As we get older, the fat pads throughout our face start to dissipate and separate from each other. This separation and the result of gravity create heaviness in the lower face, often along the jawline. Depending on the severity of the jowling, different treatment options may be available.
Filler injections along the jawline (again, often Radiesse) can help to “tether” and “stretch” the jowling to make it less prominent. Filler injections may also be indicated in the cheeks to help to create lift in the lower face.
